The PLi-HD theme adapts the layout and colours of PLi-HD, the Enigma2 receiver skin maintained by littlesat and contributors.

Original design: Magic_HD_Shadow_MiniTV by Vali (2009–2010). PLi-HD also credits derived work from VU+NL, Milo and others. These credits belong to the original designers.

2011: PLi-HD entered its public Git history on 17 November, already crediting that earlier design.

2019 / 2020: In his Enigma2 forum post, OTT-play author alex_qr described the interface as similar to OpenPLi. The post was created in 2019 and edited in 2020.

2026: OTT-play FOSS implements this visual adaptation in HTML/CSS. It retains OTT-play navigation, configurable list density and video aspect handling. No upstream skin images or fonts are bundled.

Studio 2026: the new default theme by the OTT-play FOSS project uses graphite surfaces, mint accents and a light focus row. Classic and PLi-HD remain selectable. Saved density, fonts and display options take precedence over the theme.
